HOWARD G. LANG, MD
Dr. Lang has cared for patients as an Irvine dermatology specialist for more than 30 years. He is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon specializing in the treatment of general skin disorders, skin cancer, and cosmetic dermatology.
He received his Medical Degree from the University of Washington and completed two residencies in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the University of California in Irvine, California. Dr. Lang is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology, but he limits his practice to Dermatology.
HIEN "JACK" TRAN, MD-PhD
Dr. Tran is a board-certified Irvine dermatologist who is also a scientist and a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon (skin cancer surgery) by training. His unique background allows him to combine his knowledge in medicine, the most up-to-date research in dermatology, and training in Mohs micrographic surgery to give his patients the most advanced and comprehensive care. He has been caring for patients since 2005.
He received his Medical Degree (MD) from Harvard Medical School where he also received a Doctorate Degree (PhD) on the research of the cellular mechanism of aging. His education also includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Stanford University, dermatology residency at New York University, and a Mohs Fellowship at UC San Diego.
Dr. Tran is a professor at UC Irvine's medical school and a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
